a.picnic is a small white, homely café in Ban Klang, San Pa Tong, behind Wat Tha Champi near the Thung Siao market lights. As the name suggests, most of the seating is outside, picnic-style, in a garden by a little stream, with plenty of photo corners and only one table indoors. Drinks and bakes are cheap (coffee and scones from about 60 baht), with Thai iced tea, matcha, including a ceremonial grade, toffee cake and scones. It gets hot at midday, so I'd come in the late afternoon.
