Glin is a calm white-and-cream café on Hassadisewee Road, just north of the moat, and it's the younger sister of Groon, the popular homemade-dessert shop. It shares a compound with Cheeva Spa, but the café and spa areas are kept apart. There's a cool air-conditioned room and outdoor seats, and the light is best in the morning or late afternoon. People order the Lunar (coffee over vanilla ice cream), a lychee-strawberry soda and the scone set with cream. It's a good stop for something sweet.
