Judy's home cafe

Judy's is in Lamphun town, not Chiang Mai, on the Kuang River beside Tha Nang bridge. It's an old fruit store turned into a white, rounded building, named after the owner's cat. Inside there's a cosy fireplace corner and book-lined windows; outside is a huge lawn under old rain trees, with folding chairs and a flock of ducks. The food is homemade by the family, such as khanom jeen nam ngiao, and the tamarind Americano is the signature. Pets are welcome; weekends bring live music.
