Monday Attack is a loud, retro café on the Chang Moi side of town, east of Tha Phae Gate, and it's popular with young locals. Its mascot is a grumpy black bear that has had enough of Mondays, and he's on the cookies, the drink stirrers and a shelf of merch. The room is full of old stereos, vinyl and TVs in an American-thrift look, and there's a photo-sticker booth. Soft-serve floats on melon soda are the drink to order. It's sweet stuff, so come for the fun, not a serious coffee.
