Ram Poeng Cafe is a tiny open-air coffee shop near Wat Ram Poeng, the meditation temple off the canal road south of Nimman. It's an indie, owner-run place with a lot of greenery, and the music comes off cassettes and vinyl, which sets the pace. It keeps short hours and only opens part of the week, so it's a place to plan for rather than stumble on. Pair it with a walk around the temple grounds.
