About
Kluay Tod Thammada ('ordinary fried bananas') is a cart-style stall inside the moat near Suan Dok Gate, on Inthawarorot Road, and it has been frying for more than 40 years. The batter uses a family recipe and fries up thin and very crisp. Besides bananas there's sweet potato, taro, quail eggs and fried pineapple. A bag costs very little. It's the snack I'd grab on a walk around the west side of the Old City.
