The Small Town Story is a Chongqing-style noodle shop tucked inside the Mae Hia market area, and it pulls a crowd for its heat. Order braised beef noodle soup, spicy glass noodles, wontons and mala dishes from a QR code at the table. Portions are generous and prices are fair. It's handy after a trip to the Mae Hia transport office. Don't confuse it with the Chongqing hotpot place of a similar name in Chang Phueak.
