Living Machine, or LVMC, is a lively bar on Nimman Soi 7, a short walk from One Nimman. It's a favourite with young Thais for upbeat music, live sets and cheap drinks. Weeknights are relaxed, but weekends get loud and busy. It's a better pick than the big clubs if you want a local crowd and a bit of energy without spending much. It opens at 6pm and closes around midnight.
