9-coffee @home is a small café in someone's backyard, down a side alley in Ban Pong Noi near Mae Hia market. It feels like being invited round to a neighbour's house: quiet, clean and cheap, with an air-conditioned room and a garden. Besides coffee there's breakfast and a short Thai menu (khao soi and krapao come up a lot) at local prices. The coffee is dark roast only, so pour-over fans should look elsewhere, but for a calm working morning it's lovely.
