Pankled Coffee

Pankled Coffee is a big roadside café-farm about 19 km up the Mae Malai to Pai road, in Mae Taeng, which makes it a popular first stop on the drive to Pai. They roast their own coffee, and the bakery does homemade pies and cheesecakes. The kitchen also serves simple Thai dishes like pad thai and fried rice. There's a garden, a pond, and sheep the kids can feed, plus chickens and peacocks. It gets crowded around lunchtime at weekends, and food can be slow, so I'd stop in the morning.
