North is the open-air grill at the Four Seasons in Mae Rim, set looking over the resort's rice terraces. The kitchen cooks over wood: steaks, seafood, rotisserie chicken and barbecue ribs, with farm-to-table sides. Lunch and dinner both run daily, and it's resort-casual, not stiff. It's not a casual weeknight price, but for a birthday or a long lunch with that rice-field view, it's my pick out this way. Book ahead.
