The Hill is a hillside restaurant and café in Nam Phrae, Hang Dong, built for the view, with mountain scenery, a big artificial waterfall and outdoor tables reached by golf cart. The food mixes Thai, café and international dishes, and hang lay curry with roti and beef curry are the ones people recommend. It's open from late morning until 10pm. I'd aim for late afternoon so you get the view in daylight.
