Phufinn Doi is a hilltop café in Nam Phrae, Hang Dong, about 30 minutes' drive south-west of the city and around five minutes from the Grand Canyon water park. You park below and walk up through a tended garden. Inside there are counter seats facing the valley and mountain view, sofas and a terrace. Prices are reasonable: coffee about 75–95 baht, cakes and desserts about 99–189 baht, plus smoothies and light food. Weekends get busy; on a weekday you can happily sit at the counter with a laptop.
