Grand Canyon Water Park sits on a flooded quarry in Nam Phrae, Hang Dong, with turquoise water and sheer rock walls around it. The main draw is a giant inflatable obstacle course on the lake, and you will fall in a lot. The day ticket also covers a kids' zone, kayaks, SUP boards, the giant slide for over-15s, high platform jumps for adults and one zipline ride. It's a full, active day out and not cheap by Chiang Mai standards, so arrive early and get your money's worth.

Know before you go

Day ticket 1,200 baht adult (120 cm+), 1,000 baht child (90–120 cm), under 90 cm free. Open daily 09:00–18:00.
No outside food or drink. Lockers 100 baht plus 100 baht deposit.
