Big Tree is a casual Thai restaurant in Ban Pong, Hang Dong, with seating by a stream under, as you'd guess, a big tree. The food is everyday Thai and Isaan: som tam, grilled pork and the like. It's a family-friendly place with outdoor space where kids can roam. It makes an easy lunch on a drive out to the Ban Pong side of the hills. It's closed on Wednesdays.
