The Horse Barn Cafe

The Horse Barn is the café and bistro on the 2nd floor of Pong Horse Park in Ban Pong, Hang Dong, about 20 minutes from the city. It has a rustic, barn-style room of reclaimed wood and saddles, and an open-air terrace looking over the paddocks and the hills, so you can watch the horses while you eat. The menu mixes northern Thai dishes like khao soi with Western bistro plates, pastries and coffee. You don't need to ride to visit, and kids love the view.
