Transit Number 8

Transit Number 8 is a Japanese train-station themed café on Soi Sanam Bin Kao 8, near the old airport road in Suthep. You buy a ticket at the counter like a fare, then spend it as a voucher on drinks and bites across a little street of sister shops: rice bowls, desserts, roti and even a massage room. The signature drinks play with fruit and infused milk, like orange coffee and rose milk lemon coffee. It's calm and quiet on weekday mornings, which is when I'd go; weekends get packed.
