Neng's Clay Oven Roasted Pork

Neng's is a street-food shop near Muang Mai Market that roasts pork belly in clay jars over charcoal. The skin comes out crisp enough to shatter, and the meat stays juicy. There's roast chicken and Thai salads too, and locals and visitors queue together at lunchtime. Order the pork by weight with sticky rice and a som tam. It's on Rattanakosin Road. Some listings say it's closed on Sundays.
