Nightlife in Chiang Mai

I find Chiang Mai nights more relaxed than Bangkok's. There are small bars in the Old City and Santitham, a busier scene in Nimman, live music and jazz around the Old City and Tha Phae, cocktail bars, and a few clubs. Many places open late in the afternoon and some close early in the week, so check before you head out.
